I was born and raised in Queens New York, so it was great to have a solid NY style take out option near my adopted home in Aventura. My family has been eating here pretty much since they took over the space from Jerry and Joes (which, BTW, turned out one of the most horrible perversions of the word "pizza" I've ever had the misfortune to eat). I don't know if my memory is just fading, but it seems to me that the large size pizza here used to be a lot bigger in the early days than it is today, so even though the prices have remained consistent, the value was better in the past because you got more pizza per dollar. This is my one complain with KCP in 2015: a large Neapolitan with tax comes dangerously close to $20, which is luxury pricing for a comfort food. About half the time we order the Sicilian pizza, which is more pricey than regular crust, but also lasts more than one meal for a family of 4. Since you will likely reheat part of it (as leftovers), it's important to ask for it slightly-undercooked (because if you get it fully cooked, it will be like a brick when you reheat it). Kings County is a staple in our household, but because of the prices it gets a 4. If they had better promotions or coupons I could use, it would be a 5, and they'd sell me a lot more pizza too! As good as they are, I worry they are pricing themselves out of the market.

As a Florid native, I know that I know nothing about NY pizza. Regardless, good food is usually good anywhere, and I can't say this was particularly good. The pizza was stone cold before we got it home, and looked/tasted as if it had been sitting for awhile. Flavor was OK, nothing exciting. Our wings were also cold, very small (I suggest management starts ordering jumbo if these are fresh to begin with). The wings also had an odd flavor, maybe the fryer oil needs changing? Or the sauce was old. Flavor all around was dismal. I think $35 would be more than fair for everything if it had been done well, but considering the state of everything it's a bit over priced. I don't doubt these guys are trying to do things the right way, but execution needs tightening up.

Came here to pick up some lunch, and while my meal involved a slice of cheese pizza and caprese salad, it was one of the best slices I've had in my 27 years of life! This joint is a tiny hole in the wall in the middle of Dixie Hwy, and unless you know the location by heart or turn on your gps, you will surely miss it... But please don't because is totaly worth it! Now, don't come here expecting a place to sit down because you'll be out of luck, but I will say this is the perfect place to just call the order ahead and pick it up, or better yet, have them take your food right to your house!! They have all kinds of Italian classics and a lot of specials during the week, specially on Fridays! So if you are looking for some great pizza or some italian treat, this is a great place to go!

Wonderful pizza and knots. Crust is beautiful, the sauce is perfectly balanced and the cheese is ok. This is the place where you take a New Yorker if they come to North Miami beach. I wouldn't order the Mozzarella sticks again, but the Marinara they came with was awesome! This is truly one of the top Pizza places in Miami. It's takeout only though. I went there thinking they had some tables etc.. So call ahead for pickup and make your life easier.

Just saw this place on Dirty Dining on Local 10 news and it was shut down because of rodent and roach activity.

As we bitterly watched LeBron James devour Golden State, we realized we needed to do some devouring of our own. Instead of opting for our go-to Steve's Pizza, we remember seeing King's County on Yelp. We ordered a medium Veggie pizza, replaced olives with Tomatoes, a Neapolitan pizza with mushrooms, and an order of the garlic knots. It was delicious. The sauce on these pies is phenomenal- it has a hint of sweetness to it, veggies were cooked well, and the fresh mozzarella was divine. You know it's good quality cheese when the cheese pulls into a string from the slice to your mouth. The only thing that was rough was the bill $41 without tip, and the medium was pretty small. When I feel like splurging, I'll be ordering from King's County.

I want to clearly offer this establishment 3.75 stars if I could! Thanks to the generous and kind customer service experience I had received from the manager Tara, I decided to give the pizza a second chance and the pizza was definitely better this time around for my second visit. The taste of the crust was better but it still lacked enough sauce and could use a bit more cheese as well. I would order pizza from here again because of the good service of Tara alone. I dearly value good service!

Love this place, can't believe it's taken me so long to discover it. The pizza is great- amazing sauce, not too sweet, full of robust flavor- you can even see little prices of basil in it! The wings are out if this world - love the sweet buffalo flavor, so good I wanted to lick the bowl. I refrained from that, but did dip my crusts in it!

Have been getting food from here since they opened. Last night had the Neopolitan, sweet Buffalo wings and their Amazing Garlic Knots. Seriously, they are Amazing! Other highlights are the caprese salad and the mozzarella sticks. Definitely give them a try.

The pizza is ok. Luke warm upon delivery. The staff got the order wrong on top of it. Then the owner was condescending and aggressive while speaking. She wouldn't allow a word in. Will not order again.

The best pizza! It's all in the sauce. I ordered the salt/pepper wings, small pepperoni pizza, and 6 garlic knots! GREAT JOB..41/2

  • Tanorris J.

More like Queen County Pizza. Had the Sicilian pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and extra cheese... For $30!!! Pizza is average at best. Go to Anthony's Coal Fire... I get the same pizza with a way better taste for less.

This area has no better NY style pizza. Unfortunately people in Aventura/N. Miami don't understand great NY style pizza and this place seems to struggle? Their location on Dixie sucks and that's probably no help but if you want the real in taste and crust, Kings Pizza has the goods. Proper sausage, dough, and sauce. It's all there. Unfortunate that there's no place to sit and eat or I'd be a regular. If I were comparing this Pizza to the best there is (Frank Pepe's in New Haven, CT) or a place or two in Brooklyn it wouldn't be too far behind. Certainly respectable. I think he needs a larger size because his large is really a medium, his onions and peppers could be far better but only if I had to criticize something and that's what keeps him from the top category nationwide. Around here Kings is King! NY/NJ folks will appreciate this style of pizza. Others may not think its as special. My five stars is based on availability in the area.

Best NY style pizza in SOFL. Great crust, balanced sauce with fresh basil, correct cheese cook and ratio. Well done!

NY style pizza, thin, nice and crispy! I was surprise on how much I liked it, I highly recommended... I am not a big fan of pizza; but now I am. Kings County pizza also, offers delivery...

I was looking for a quick lunch and saw this place on yelp- along with great reviews. I decided to check it out: I was not disappointed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted. I ordered a slice of the Neapolitan pizza and it was really good. The pizza looked a little greasy (which is expected of pizza - it's not meant to be healthy food) so I grabbed some napkins and dabbed some of the grease off. The pizza slice was fresh, hot, cheesy, yummy sauce, and crispy crust. Just the way I like it. Will definitely come back and order more, maybe try the rolls.

As a kings county born native I must comment on all of these five star reviews. Let me start by saying that the pizza is not bad. It's just not great. This pizza has scent sauce and chese. The crust is nothing like any NY pizza. It also has cornmeal on the bottom. This is far from authentic. Now, let's talk about these garlic knots. Really?? Quotes have included that "these must be dipped in crack, they are so good". These were stale, over cooked pieces of dough that were dropped in a vat of oil. Barely cooked garlic was thrown on top, as a horror show accoutrement. My garlic loving family each took one bite and threw them out. If I wasn't just visiting, I would have called for a refund. It's time for some honesty, south Florida. There is no NY pizza down here.

Been a while and too bad it wasn't the awesome experience from before. Maybe it was and I was the one who changed.....just wasn't a huge fan this time. Pizza, a surprisingly small antipasto salad (as compared to others), and an egg parm. All just 'ok'. Nice people working there though.

    (3)
  • Adam S.

The garlic knots are really fantastic. Seriously, these are probably the best knots I've found so far in south florida. The pizza slices are pretty good, but I found the crust to be too crispy for my tastes. I like a crispy outside and a chewy inside. This crust is crunchy all the way through. The sauce was pretty good. The set-up here is a little wonky. If you are dining in, they escort you from the counter to a seating area about 4 doors down in the shopping complex. It's an odd set-up, but if it works for them, so be it. Prices are decent. I would definitely come back for knots again. Not so sure about the pizza though...

I thought the pizza was a little oily but my boyfriend loved it. The crust is awesome: supper cristy and the tomatoes taste very very fresh! Negative: they dont have pineapple :( and youre not allowed to eat there.

Since the time of my original review KCP has settled into a groove. Same counter staff and pizza guru making the pies, but now they have a small dining room (not attached - it's at far left end of the strip mall), a "frequent diner" card (buy 10 pies get 11th free), and they've perfected their craft. I have come to truly love their Sicilian pies (at $17 they are more pricey, but there is a lot to feed a crowd here, and they re-heat beautifully if you lack the crowd). I recently tried a "grandma" slice (available only Fridays at lunch, or any day by order), and while the chunks of whole garlic cloves were great, my personal preference remains for Sicilian and Neapolitan, both of which are done exceedingly well here (as are the garlic knots). I branched out and tried the baked ziti this year, which was good also (though I prefer the 'za). For some reason I seem to crave pizza on Mondays more than any other weekday, and more than once I've been passing by only to realize KCP is closed to my dismay. Everyone needs a day off, but in a perfect world this place would always be open. They could still use some better specials and promos, but for a neighborhood pizza joint, King's County earns my 5th star and I hope they prosper in their current location.

I was excited to try the pizza after reading the amazing reviews. I searched through the menu and decided to delve in with a Meatlovers Pizza and 12 Knots. I looked at their delivery map they have on the website and was delighted to see I live within the zone. Placed my order and was told it would be ready within the hour. Less than three minutes later, I receive a phone call that despite their delivery map including my address, "They don't deliver past 10th avenue." I live in between NE 7th and NE 8th avenue. Two blocks outside of this zone. What a disappointment! They need to either fix the map or be more clear about the delivery zone on the website and over the phone. I will not be making any attempt to order from here or even visit because of this. What a shame.

If you're looking for the best pizza in Miami I would rate Kings County at the top of the list. From their tasty pizza to their mouth watering sandwiches and wings, they offer a wide variety of different options which are all delicious. Their pizza is not to soft nor hard, the right texture with the right taste does your taste buds wonders. They always use fresh ingredients, you can watch them grade the cheese, cut the tomatoes/peppers/onions and make their own sauce which is amazing. I order from here a couple times a month. I suggest trying their speciality "Grandmas pizza". Give them a try, you won't order from anyone else in the area, I can guarantee that. Everyone is friendly and the owner Rob takes pride in his business, employees and food. Kings County has it all.

Ok as far as pizza joints in South Florida there are a total of only 3 here for me. Kings County is as good as it is going to get for the North East. Some say it is the water here versus there. I don't know what it is but SFL pizza just doesn't compare. Now for the good part. Hands down this is probably the best NY style pizza here in SFL. The staff are nice folk as well and you can tell they really care. If you are visiting or miss some real Pizza this is a definite recommend.

Best pizza in North Miami Beach. They are totally OK with special instructions. My husband likes his with very little cheese and extra crispy. I am normal, so I like mine loaded with cheesy goodness. Everyone in my family is always pleased with their order. They make excellent wings as well.

love this place, the cheese pizza is really yummy and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. can't wait to go again

All in all pizza was excellent. Sauce is amazing & pizza was very tasty. The crust could've been better...kind of strange taste on its on & weird crumbly stuff on the bottom. Slices were pretty small & I thought it was a little pricey. I will definitely get it again & it is the best pizza I've had in a long time in South Florida.

The owner offered me a free pie when there best pizza guy was on duty so if a place is only good when a certain guy makes pie it's not too sting of a pizza place anyway we took them up on the free pie and ordered other items so it wouldn't be a lose for the place. Almost 1 hr went by I called it was not even on the way and I cancelled. Over 1 he to bring a pie to smooth out wrinkles with very unhappy customers that were located less than 1 mi away i don't think that's any way to resolve issue on to next place

We just order pizza from this place. I had high expectations for New York style pizza. The pizza we got tasted like the pizza you make at home from a box. I was disappointed with the quality of the pizza and the price we paid for it. Will not be coming back.

3.75 lol because I've only ordered delivery once & never been to the actual restaurant. First, the customer service from the phone to the door, was fantastic! Very patient, understanding, & accommodating. I like the calmness of the staff. Not rushed on the phone like most places. Ok for the food I ordered 2 slices of pizza, (1 cheese, 1 pepperoni) & a chicken caesar salad. The salad was nothing out of this world. Pretty bland caesar dressing. I usually like it with a lil more tang like more pepper or anchovy taste. But still good. The chicken seemed liked the kind that you buy prepared and frozen in a bag at the supermarket. It was dry and overly prepared w seasoning. Saying all that, the salad still arrived cold and with crispy croutons. :) The pizza definitely exceeded my expectations. It WAS big, thin, cheesy, and greasy just like I remember from NY. The crust was cooked to a crisp, which I dont know if I remember that being exactly a NY signature, but hey, who doesnt like a lil burnt cheese :p When I first saw the well done pizza i thought it might be a little too salty for my taste but not at all! The sauce was sweet and the cheese was seasoned w what looked like oregano. It was delicious. And a good test of great pizza... is that it taste great even when cold. hehheh

Very very good meatballs pizza, the owner is so genuine! We ordered meatball x2 and extra cheese, phenomenal! Cannoli's are home made also .

They do pizza right. Crispy, thin crust, as it should be. I wish they had some tables to eat in, but the pizza is so good, that it's worth eating in the car.

  • Donald E. L.

Awesome pizza and customer service. I eat here almost every Friday for lunch. I always get a slice of each type of pizza: grandma, regular, and Sicilian. I never had the grandma style pizza before. It is amazing. You can only get it by the slice on Fridays (on other days you must order the whole pie).

  • Pilar I.

OMG!!!! Old World... Where have you been all my life.. YUMMERS!!! I've been coming to KCP since they opened and have never been disappointed. The Old World pie is amazing... thin crispy crust, chunks of sweet tomato. mozzarella, basil and drizzle of olive oil on top... what more can you ask for. This is my go too pizza joint and nothing else comes close. Not sure what happened with the folks that rated them 1 and 2 stars.... All I can say is that their pies are DELISH!!! Oh, and the meatballs are pretty tasty too!!!!

    (5)
  • Aviv S.

The garlic knots should not be legal. They might be dipped in crack cause they are addictive and amazing! The mozzarella sticks are tasty as hell; crispy on the outside and stringy on the inside. Grandmas pizza and Sicilian are beyond comparison. Sicilian has a crispy crust topped with a delicious sweet tomato sauce. I'm not going to bother describing the grandma pizza because it would not do it justice. Its my favorite and its a must have. Before eating I was pretty sure the best pizza that you'll find in Miami was on a mediocre scale. But Kings County Pizza definitely, like James Cameron, raises the bar.

    (5)
  • DeeAnn T.

Visiting from California and found this little prize. The knots are totally delicious with butter and spices. They melt in your mouth. The calzone was done to perfection and oozing with tons of cheese! Super! The owners and staff are fantastic and so friendly!

This hole in the wall was recommended to me by a waiter at a local place I frequent when I was lamenting the lack of decent pizza in Miami. My take. Growing up in Brooklyn there was no shortage of good pizza. Named after the county of kings (Brooklyn) this joint delivers a straight up the middle Brooklyn slice of pizza I was raised on. Crispy, chewy crust, tasty sauce and mozzarella. A few drops of oil leaked onto my plate when I folded it and ate it. Just like home. I was skeptical but they delivered a slice out of Brooklyn. No designer nonsense. Not like the flatbread with exotic ingredients that Harry's serves, which is tasty but not real pizza, not the 30 dollar pie they obnoxiously roll the dough out with using a wine bottle on south beach and not the sugar laden agita sauce like at Steves. Real Brooklyn pizza. The people were really nice too. No seats. Ate it while standing. I'll be back.

WOW!!!! Finally a pizza worthy of being called "Pizza" This is in no way a chain pizza joint. Perfect crust, the sauce is perfection. Additional toppings are fresh and they are generous. I had ours delivered since this place is in no way a sit down establishment. I've only had Pizza twice in my life that even compared to this. The first was a place called Marty's in North Miami and they have long since closed and the other was My Pie (No symbol for Pi) on Sunny Isles Beach, Long gone as well

Tucked on a corner of a small, nothing of a strip mall, is the best pizza in the Aventura area hands down. Fresh ingredients and not out of some can is just one of the reasons that make this place outstanding. Perfect crust. Consistently good and friendly staff. Very small place to eat in but possible. Limited parking.

Pretty impressed so far with the takeaway I had from this newer self-proclaimed NY-style pizza joint. We ordered a Sicilian pizza, mozzarella sticks, and garlic knots. The garlic knots, which really is just small garlic rolls, were very nice. A little crunch on the outside, a little doughy on the inside, and covered in garlic and oil. The mozzarella sticks were a big hit. One of my kids gave it the seal of approval. The sticks, which came six to the order, were golden brown on the outside. They were crunchy on the outside and filled with mozzarella. The Sicilian is not my favorite pizza choice, but this was pretty good. The dough was light and airy and the tomato sauce had good flavor. Overall, I was impressed with my first try of the place and look forward to trying the regular pizza and some of the subs.

    (4)
  • Eric T.

Great pizza, we usually order the salt and pepper wings with a pie of pepperoni. The garlic knots aren't so bad either. Kind of reminds me of ny pizza but definitely not ny pizza.

    (4)
  • Jonah K.

Best pizza I have had in the Miami area hands down. This place is amazingly good. The garlic knots were out of control, the pizza was superb, and even and antipasto was very good. I will be back, just wish it was closer!

    (5)
  • Lance P.

Good pizza for north Miami beach..garlic rolls are great. Pizza has a good crust and the chicken parm sub was good also. I stop by here since its around the corner. It is NOT Steve's pizza but it does the job and is definitely better than any chain pizza.

  • Hallie M.

My dad and brother actually found this place, and after four years of living in Florida and desperately missing out native new york spots for pizza we have never been more glad for Kings County pizza. We LOVE the grandma and the old world. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

  • Angela M.

OH MY GAWD! Best pizza I've ever had outside of Brooklyn.

    (5)
  • Judy G.

This is the closest to NY style pizza and it is so good you are going to have more than one slice. I think the best thing is having some one with you to try the other styles of pizza that they have so that you can get more of a taste of the different styles from the grandmas, silician and regular pizza. They are in a small plaza and if you are not paying attention will miss them on the road, so drive slower and keep an eye to your left.

    (5)
  • Michael y.

Fk@king excellent!!! Get the grandmas pizza. Fuggeta bout it

Slid thru w/ my seed as we were in the mood for a Chicken Parm. We ordered the Chkn Parm, Salt & Pepper Wangz & i grabbed a slice for the wait. I'm gonna come clean. I'm spoiled cuz im from the NY area so i grew up on great NY style pizza.. Even the spots in NYC that slang their slices for 99cents is probably better but this isn't NYC & u already know, FL's water ain't the same. Having said that, their sauce is better than their better known competition down the block & it was a good/solid slice for S. Florida. Peeped one of S. Florida's Food bloggers (BurgerBeast) there going H.A.M. He gives this spot a HEAVY endorsement as he drove a minute to grab those pies. The Chkn Parm was a bit smaller than Steve's spot but it makes up for it in flavor. The S&P wangz were crispy & crunchy too. Overall, I Phuc's w/ this spot as the food was consistent & tasty & they had dope service & wiLL slide thru again to try some other joints.

This place is amazing and really well priced considering the portions, quality and taste. My favorite are the Margherita and Sicilian pizzas. The margherita's is thin and light but with a decadent taste. The Sicilian feeds a hungry crowd and the deliciously cheesy! Have tried the other items on their menu including the wings, garlic knots, ziti and chicken parm. All delish! Local tip: you'll get your food quicker if you pick it up than if you get delivery - but either way the food is worth it!

  • Fern F.

horrible pizza, horrible owners.... not what you'd expect from all the good reviews. this is my second bad experience with kings county pizza but i thought i'd give it a second chance...after returning my first piece of pizza today which was totoally burnt, the owner made me another piece which when served was cold and had a big glob of unmelted cheese on it! disgusting... there are far better pizza places in n miami...do not patronize a business where they not only do not appreciate your business, but yell at you as well! the female owner is rude and a terrible business person! keep on driving to whole foods for good pizza!

    (1)
  • Stuart G.

New York Pizza it's not. but I can only think of one non-gourmet pizza by the slice place in South Florida better. I had the Eggplant parm for the first time today and it was off the charts! One of the best anywhere, all male eggplant too! So happy I finally found their other room so I can sit down and enjoy. It's at the far end (4 storefronts down) of the shopping center. they will bring you the food! but they really should put a sign there!

  • Carla B.

I used to love their Old World Pizza, but lately their dough becomes dry and hard very quickly. Their garlic knots are some of the best I've tasted. They sadly no longer do the tiramisu which was homemade and great. The calzone is very tasty, but I suspect deep-fried instead of baked. The honey garlic wings are very tasty as well. The delivery minimum is $13, which is convenient. Keep in mind this is a pick-up and delivery place. My favorite pizza is still Steve's Pizza on Biscayne, but this is my second choice.

It's ALWAYS nice to support local businesses, especially where it comes to restaurants, delis and yes, pizzerias. So many franchises and chains dominate the scene that when one of my associates told me how she and her husband frequent Kings County regularly, we decided to take a shot and stop by for lunch. Now, to be fair, ambiance is NOT a word I would use to describe the atmosphere. For one thing, there's maybe 2 tables outside a tiny strip center overlooking West Dixie Hwy and the railroad tracks. But it's not about ambiance, it's about the PIE. And the pies are AWESOME. Since that day when 5 of us decided to dine al fresco in the parking lot of Kings County, several of us have now added their assortment of pies and parms to our weekly take home dinner schedules. I have had an office pizza party (yes, the DO deliver and the pies arrive HOT!) and am anxiously awaiting another delivery of several more pies (the classic Neapolitan and Meat lovers are faves here; I'm more into the Margherita) for our version of a St. Paddy's day TGIF/Birthday celebration. Give it a shot. You will love it.

This is the best pizza place in the Miami area. Delicious pies with the right amount of sauce and cheese, cooked to perfection. . . . The best.

  • Teresa K.

Husband and I hit this place for some hangover pizza action. It was glorious. The antipasto salad was heavenly with lots of meat and cheese and great house made dressing. The pizza was thin, crispy, and delicious with just the right amount of sauce and toppings. And of course there were the garlic knots, balls of pizza dough with fresh garlic and olive oil that made my taste buds smile. I will definitely make this my go to place to satisfy pizza cravings.

I'm not a fan of their Sicilian pizza or the oddly sweet tasting calzone.. but as for the regular cheese pizza.. fantastic.

  • Esther B.

Perhaps my expectations were too high. The name Kings County, was the first thing to catch my attention. I know very well, that's the home of some of the best pizza on the planet! Next, I see that they have 27 reviews (didn't notice until now, that many of them are 5 stars, by one-time reviewers) and average 4 1/2 stars. Sorry, but this place, in my personal opinion, does not merit that. The pizza was not bad. The dough was nice and crisp, and sauce was good too. The slices, however, are small, and did not have enough cheese. Was hoping to also try a Sicilian slice, but was told that's only a Friday thing. Sorry, but if you want to be authentic NY, you have Sicilian all the time. Don't expect to eat in. There is one small table outside, but only a walk-up counter to order inside. Overall, I'm pretty turned off.

  • Jade S.

Great Pizza! I'm a Big Steve's Pizza fan on Biscayne...yet I must say this place gives them a run for there money. Thin crust (Best in MIAMI), Great Cheese , Sauce is average. Go there you will not be disappointed...

The crunch of the crust is perfection. Awesome slice. Great flavor. Not the best locale to eat in, but totally worth it. I had my doubts once I was there, but was converted by the slice's flavor which was the main reason for going. If you live close for delivery you are so lucky. Will definitely drive the distance for this slice. If they had a cool locale, I would give it 5 stars.

I have never been to New York, so I cannot compare this pizza to NY. Get over it. I can, however, compare it to over 20 pizza places in South Florida. It is THE BEST. Hands down. The best cheese pizza I have ever had. Sometimes I go all crazy and go to places to get pizza with buffalo chicken, or garlic and artichoke, so on. Other times I want to be a purist - plain ole cheese pizza. Preferably thin crust. This is what I had for lunch on Friday - 2 slices of cheese pizza and a can of coke. $5 bucks for the best lunch of the week (ok, ok, maybe that doesnt say a whole lot since I am a teacher and eat frozen meals the rest of the week). But I thought about this pizza all day. I told my family about it. And after sitting home all day yesterday watching the rain through the window, I announced to my hubby - We are going to Kings County pizza. TONIGHT! Even though its 25 minutes from home (luckily only 5 minutes from work). He happily obliged and we called up our local cousin and uncle and brought them a pie too. We split a cheese and a veggie. Hubby and Uncle LOVED the veggie. Cousin and I LOVED the cheese. We converted 2 more in a matter of mere minutes. I think I won't be able to frequent any other place aside from KC and Anthonys (and thats mostly for their wings)!

Great pizza. No where to sit, but it's easy to just call ahead and pick up your pie. They also deliver. I recommend trying them (especially if you're from the northeast).

We wish we could give them more than 5 stars-seriously! TOTALLY AWESOME & AUTHENTIC NY STYLE PIZZA!!!!! The dough is simply phenominal, thin and crispy with a slightly sweet taste and a slightly flaky consistency. The garlic knots were delicious. Light and airy with the perfect amount of garlic, parm and oil. The owners, Rob and Kara were delightful and extremely friendly. Don't let the very small space they have fool you. They are only in business 9 short months and we love supporting Mom & Pop businesses. KINGS COUNTY PIZZA=PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The closest thing to true New York crispy thin crust pizza I've found in Miami. More of a delivery or to go place though since they only have 2 small tables outside. Definitely coming back!

Kings County Pizza has some of the best baked ziti. They use the right amount of noodles, cheese, and sauce to make an awesome dish. It is also huge and you can usually get at least two meals out of it.

Great Pizza. Finally a good pizza place in the Aventura/North Miami area. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza, the sauce, crust and everything was the closest I've had to NY/NJ pizza. Mauro's in Hollywood might be a bit better but they don't deliver. The service was great, and the pizza will definetly make this my go to pizza place. I've tried all the pizza around here and this is number 1. Hopefully they keep up the fantastic work. Recenty tried thier wings and antipasto salad. Wings were not great, kind of dry and the salad was pretty good. I love the pizza enough though to give it 5 stars. One thing that's kind of annoying is that they are closed on Monday and Tuesday I think

I had the pleasure of ordering from here a few nights ago and I must say this is hands down the best pizza in Miami. The first thing you notice is the wonderful aroma as you open the box. Then you take that first bite and your taste buds our welcomed to the most amazing flavors. The cheese, sauce, and crust are made to perfection. They also have garlic knots that are delicious, with a coupon I had they were absolutely free! Maybe your in the mood for wings, then look no further. They have a handful of homemade sauces that pair wonderfully.

Holy crap this is the best pizza! I have lived in FL from NYC since 2004 and this is the first time I feel home. The owners are super friendly and make you feel like family. The crust is thin and crisp to perfection. The cheese and sauce are phenomenal. You must go!

Kings County Pizza is located in Ojus about 2 miles SW of Golden Beach, FL. They offer real NY Style Thin crust Pizza which is excellent. They have a great lunch special with 2 slices of pizza, garlic roll knots, and a soda at a low price. The restaurant is physically divided into 2 separate storefronts. The staff is super nice and the food is 5 Star quality. I give Kings County Pizza and excellent rating. By Gregg L. Friedman MD, Psychiatrist, Hallandale Beach, FL

Finally North Miami has real New York Style Pizza. This guy knows what he is doing and it shows in his food. I stop by here before going to work and grab a slice, hits the spot. Calzone is off the chain and the garlic knots. Good Food and Good People makes a GOOD local spot.

The garlic knots were good. We should have stopped there because I think we got some bad mushrooms. The color was very dark and the taste was strange. That was probably a clue that they were spoiled or old because my husband and I both got sick shortly after eating. We brought the rest of our large pizza home only to toss it in the trash once we realized that we were ill. We won't be back!

I order delivery from Kings pretty frequently and I'm never disappointed by the quality of both food and service. They deliver quickly, and the food is always hot and fresh. I'm from NYC, so I will state upfront that the pizza is definitely not identical to "New York Style" pizza-- but they still make a pretty damn good pie, New York Style or not. The crust is reminiscent of the NYC-style: a nice bite, bit of a crunch, not too thick. The toppings are high-quality... BIG fan of the salami. Also, don't miss the chicken wings! They are SO GOOD. They have a variety of sauces to choose from-- my favorites are the 718 and Vito's. Kings County Pizza is definitely my first choice for pizza delivery.

This is one of my favorite pizza places. I have tried a wide range of their pizzas and other products. They are all impressive! They also have the best chicken wings around. Their hours keep changing but should normalize soon. They also have a great staff and friendly delivery personnel. If you love pizza you gotta give them a try.

The best cheese pizza I've ever had outside of NY! No exaggeration.

By far the best pizza In Miami, there is nothing else in this town that can compare to it, the sauce, and crust, magic that is in every bite will satisfy you. But it doesn't stop there, the garlic rolls, Stromboli, chicken wings, simply whatever you order, is just outrageously RAD.

The portions were huge and delivered hot. We had entrees which were delicious. Would order again.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
